My scholarly focus is on the intersection of Internet governance and digital rights with a particular interest in the role of transnational civil society in the process of constitutionalization of digital rights. In addition, I am interested in how digitization affects public administration and the state, including the role of artificial intelligence and its regulation in the context of electronic governance. As part of my work with the Island Ark Project Foundation Inc., I examine ways for civil society actors in small island states to engage in safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage amid threats by climate change.
